Proboards. Mainly because they're pretty easy to customize, good support, nice simple layout, and an all 'round great hosting system:P

Proboards but if you want to pay then i'd say VBullietin because the hacks you can get for your forums are superb! I'm not kidding, the features might not be as good but the hacks are totally awesome because you can use almost any web coding language on it and it'll work  But i choose Proboards  |
